dc.description.abstract | In the present investigation, the information regarding heterosis and combining ability was obtained for 14 plant characters including seed cotton yield, its components and quality traits in inter specific hybrids of cotton. The material for present study comprised of 12 parents (4 Testers and 8 Lines), their 32 hybrids produced by Line x Tester crossing and two standard checks (G.cot Hy-102 and DCS-32). The material was tested using randomized block design with three replications at Regional Research station, Anand Agricultural University, Anand during Kharif 2009-10. | en_US |
