dc.description.abstractIn the transfer of technology to farmers in their respective areas, scientists working in KVKs play an important role. Despite the fact that they have so many technologies for farmers’ development, they cannot achieve the expected productivity and production of the target required to meet the demand of the world’s fast-growing second largest populated countries. This is because the researcher-extension agents-farmers are inappropriately linked. This is the main problem hence the scientific evaluation is carried out, i.e. “Role assessment of scientists working in KVKs of Gujarat” was carried out and the various factors affecting the scientists are understood. This study has enabled us to understand the various limitations of the system and helps to link the missing links between scientists and farmers in the transfer of technology to the farming community, and it will also help policymakers to bring desirable changes to the agricultural system in order to help the farming community.en_US
