dc.description.abstractThe present investigation entitled “Line x Tester analysis for combining ability, heterosis and gene action in okra (Abelmoschus esculentus (L.) Moench)” was undertaken at Main Vegetable Research Station, Gujarat Agricultural University, Anand during kharif 2000 and 2001. The experimental material comprising of fifteen females, five males, their 75 hybrids and standard hybrid check GOH-1 was evaluated in a randomized block design with three replications in both the environments. Observations were recorded on fruit yield per plant and eight other yield components.en_US
