Abstract
An investigation entitled “Influence of post-harvest application of ethrel and
paper wrapping on papaya (Carica papaya L.) cv. Madhu Bindu” was carried out at
P. G. Laboratory, Department of Horticulture, B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand
Agricultural University, Anand during kharif 2017.
The experiment was carried out in Completely Randomized Design
(Factorial) with three repetitions comprising ten treatments. The treatments were
comprising post-harvest application of no ethrel and ethrel (500, 750, 1000, 1250
mg/l) along with paper wrapping. The fruits were subjected to various quantitative
and qualitative analysis at 2nd, 4th, 6th and 8th day of storage period.
