A field experiment was conducted at Horticulture Research and Extension Centre, Somanahallikaval, Hassan during kharif 2016 to study the effect of micronutrients and their formulations on growth, yield and quality in potato cv. Kufri Jyoti. The experiment was conducted in Randomized Complete Block Design with twelve treatments replicated thrice. Treatments included were T1 (control)- RDF (FYM 25 t/ha + N:P:K at 75:75:100 kg/ha), T2 – T1+ boron, T3 - T1+ zinc, T4 - T1 + zinc + boron, T5 - T1 + IIHR vegetable special, T6 - T1 + IIHR potato special, T7 - T1 + UHSB 1, T8 - T1 + UHSB 2, T9 - T1 + UHSB 3, T10 - T1 + UHSB 4, T11 - T1 + UHSB 5, and T12 - RDF of N:P:K without FYM. Each formulation has different concentration of micronutrients and were sprayed at 30, 45 and 60 DAS. Among different formulations, T11-foliar spray of UHSB-5 micronutrient formulation along with RDF recorded maximum plant height (66.53 cm, 66.87 cm) whereas, T9-foliar spray of UHSB-3 micronutrient formulation along with RDF recorded significantly highest number of branches per plant (4.60, 4.60), number of compound leaves per plant (24.60, 24.67) and plant canopy spread (1583.35 cm2, 1612.64 cm2) at 45 and 60 DAS respectively. The same treatment was recorded significantly highest number of tubers per plant (7.87), tuber weight per plant (687.87 g), tuber yield per hectare (25.18 tonnes), dry matter content (19.76%), reducing sugars (0.39%) and total sugars (0.43%) and least rotten tubers (31.62%) at 75 days after storage compared to control.en_US
