Abstract
The present investigation entitled “Efficacy of biofertilizers and
nitrogenous fertilizer on growth, yield and quality of tomato (Lycopersicon
esculentum Mill.) cv. ‘Gujarat Tomato-1’ in Central Gujarat Agro-climatic
condition” was conducted during rabi 2003 – 2004 at the Horticultural Farm of
B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand. Field
experiment was laid out in Randomized Block Design with 10 treatment
combination and three replications consisting of three levels of nitrogen i.e. 25
kg N ha-1, 50 kg N ha-1 and 75 kg N ha-1 along with Azospirillum, Azotobacter
and Azospirillum + Azotobacter.
