Abstract
Groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L.) is an important edible oilseed and legume crops. Seed rot and collar rot caused by Aspergillus niger Van Tieghem occurs regularly due to its seed and soil borne nature and cause losses in terms of mortality of plants. To control this disease, seed dressing chemicals have been recommended to farmers. But due to some disadvantage of pesticides, the eco-friendly strategies of disease management with bare minimum use of chemicals are now being recommended for use of the farmers.
