Abstract
The experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of various feeding regimens
having three different dietary energy and protein levels on production performance of
IWN strain of White Leghorns. Three dietary treatment having three level of
metabolizable energy i.e. 2225, 2700 and 2502 kcal ME/kg with three levels of crude
protein i.e. 16, 19.42 and 18 % respectively as treatments T1, T2 and T3 were offered adlibitum
to 300 pullets each of hatch-I and hatch-II from 25-40 weeks of age. The
statistical analysis was carried out on individual (hatch-I and hatch-II) and pooled over
hatches using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) to find out effect of dietary
treatments on performance of birds.
