Abstract
Considering population pressure of our country during years to come, possibilities of agricultural development is planned and implemented by agricultural scientists in a different ways, recommendation of expansion and adoption of mixed farming is one of them. The understanding of existing feeling of the farmers towards relevance of mixed farming to develop agriculture as a whole and economic condition of farmers is one of the important issues to analyse in popularizing use of mixed farming for agricultural development. For this, to collect reliable information on the attitude of the farmers towards mixed farming there was a need of systematically developed reliable attitude scale. Realizing this, researcher has developed a scale to measure attitude of the farmers towards mixed farming with following other objectives.
5.2 Objectives of the study
1. To develop a scale to measure attitude of the farmers towards mixed farming.
2. To study the profile of the mixed faming adopter farmers.
3. To measure the attitude of the farmers towards mixed farming.
4. To ascertain relationship between profile of the farmers and their attitude towards mixed farming.
5. To identify constraints faced by the farmers in the adoption of the mixed farming.
