Abstract
An investigation entitled “Effect of post-harvest treatments on quality and
shelf life of ber (Zizyphus mauritiana Lamk.) under cold storage condition cv. Gola”.
The experiment conducted during the Rabi-2020 at Horticultural Research Farm and P.
G. Laboratory, Department of Horticulture, B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand
Agricultural University, Anand, Gujarat. The experiment was laid out in Completely
Randomized Design with Factorial concept (FCRD) having fourteen treatment
combinations, comprising of different chemical concentration of viz., GA3 (20, 40 and 60
ppm), CaCl2 (0.5, 1.0 and 2.0 %) and along with control and with wax coating and without
wax coating. The treatments were repeated thrice. Periodic observations on 5th, 10th, 15th
and 20th day of storage periods were taken.
