Micronutrient deficiency, including Zn deficiency are a global problem affecting more than two billion people in the world, with serious implications for human health (Cakmak et al.,1999). High consumption of cereals based foods of low micronutrients content, has been suggested as a major reason for the wide spread occurrence of micronutrient deficiency in humans, particularly in developing countries like India. Therefore it is necessary to produced micronutrient dense grain for human consumption. Keeping this in mind a pot experiment was conducted during rabi season of 2010-11en_US
