Abstract
An experiment was conducted on sandy clay loam soil of Anand with a view to evaluate different nitrogenous fertilizers with respect to yield, chemical composition and nutrients uptake by paddy variety GAUR-100. The nitrogenous fertilizers tried were Urea mixed with soil, Ammonia solution, Urea blended with neem cake, Urea mud balls, Urea alone and Ammonium sulphate. The experimental design followed was randomized block design with six replications. The basal application of 75 kg N, 75 kg P2O5 nad 37.5 kg K2O per hectare was made through ammonium sulphate, diammonium phosphate and muriate of potash, respectively. Then 75 kg nitrogen per hectare was applied as per treatment in two equal splits viz. After three weeks of transplanting and at panicle initiation stage. The samples of soil, grain and straw were collected for chemical analysis.
