Abstract
Investigation on Life table studies and control of
diamondback moth, Plutella xylostella (Linnaeus) on cress (Lepidium
sativum L.) were carried out at B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand
Agricultural University, Anand during the rabi season of the year 2006-
2007. The studies on survey of P. xylostella infesting L. sativum
revealed that ovipositional activity was observed from 1st to 13th
standard week (1st week of January to 4th week of March) whereas, the
larval activity was observed from 2nd to 12th standard week(2nd week of
January to 3rd week of March). The survey on natural enemies of P.
xylostella infesting L. sativum revealed that activity of a larval parasite
Cotesia plutellae Kurdj
