The experiment was carried out during summer season of the year 2012 at the farm of DWSR-Anand Centre, B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand (Gujarat) to study the “Comparative bioefficacy of different herbicides in summer Pearl millet (Pennisetum glaucum L.) under Middle Gujarat conditions”. The soil of the experimental area was loamy sand in texture, low in nitrogen (140 kg ha-1), medium in available phosphorus (40 kg ha-1) and high in available potassium (300 kg ha-1) with slightly alkaline in reaction (pH 7.50).
