Investigations on Integrated management of grape mealybug, Maconellicoccus hirsutus (Green), (Pseudococcidae; Hemiptera) was carried out at College of Horticulture, University of Horticultural Sciences, Bagalkot during 2017-18. A laboratory experiment was conducted to evaluate the bio-efficacy of fungal pathogens, Lecanicillium lecanii and Beauveria bassiana against M. hirsutus by dipping bioassay. Among them, maximum nymphal mortality was registered in B. bassiana + L. lecanii @ 6 + 6g/l (57.64%) and was statistically on par with same combination @ 4 + 4g (56.29%). The next best treatments were L. lecanii @ 6 and 4 g/l with 51.63 and 50.18 per cent mortality, respectively. Bio-efficacy of different botanicals and their combinations were evaluated against M. hirsutus under laboratory. Among them, significantly higher mortality of mealybugs was noticed in neem oil @ 15 ml/l (81.36%) and was statistically on par with neem oil + pongamia oil @ 10 + 10 ml/l (79.65%), neem oil @ 10 ml/l (78.09%) and IIHR neem soap @ 10 g/l (77.67%). Different IPM modules were formulated and tested for management of grape mealybugs in field. Among them, Adoptable IPM module II (Soil application of neem cake @ 250kg/ha – buprofezin 25SC @ 1.25ml/l – soil drenching with thiamethoxam 25WG @ 1.0 g/l – neem oil + Pongamia oil @ 5 + 5ml/l – B. bassiana + L. lecanii @ 5 + 5g/l) and Chemi-intensive IPM module (Spraying of imidacloprid 17.8SL @ 0.25ml/l – thiamethoxam 25WG @ 0.2g/l – acetamaprid 20SP @ 0.25g/l – buprofezin 25SC @ 1.25ml/l + dichlorovos 76EC @ 0.5ml/l) were most effective in reducing incidence of grape mealybug colonies on both vine and grape bunches. In addition, Adoptable IPM module- II recorded significantly higher bunch yield (44.69 t/ha) and highest B:C ratio (4.35). Hence, Adoptable IPM module- II may be recommended for the management of mealybugs on grape to harvest residue free higher fruit yield.en_US
