dc.description.abstract | The present investigation on “Effect of chemical desuckering on growth, yield and quality in bidi tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum L.) varieties” was carried out at Bidi Tobacco Research Station, Anand Agricultural University, Anand, during the year 2012-13. The field experiment was laid out in Factorial Randomized Block Design (FRBD) with four replications comprising nine treatment combinations of three varieties (GT 5, ABT 10 and GABT 11) and three suckericides treatments (hand desuckering, pendimethalin @ 0.45 % + 2 % urea and fatty alcohol @ 6 % + 2 % urea). | en_US |
