Abstract
The present study was conducted to assess and compare the
association between Obesity and Social Competence of adolescent boys
and girls (13-15 years) studying in Senior Secondary Schools of Bikaner
City. The total sample for the present study consisted of 200 adolescents
(50 each normal and obese boys and 50 each normal and obese girls)
randomly selected from purposively selected 8 schools of Bikaner city. For
the data collection one major tool was used i.e. Social Competence
(Standardized tool) by Sharma, V.P., Shukla, P. and Shukla, K., Raipur
(1992).
