A variety of biological and ecological data set comes in the form of tables of counts, commonly referred to the contingency tables. The units of the sampled population in such circumstances are classified according to each of several variables or sets of categories such as sex: male and female, age: young, middle-edged and old or species. When these variables are looked at simultaneously, they form a multi-dimensional contingency table, with each variable corresponding to one dimension of the table. A multi dimensional contingency table is a s ample from a multi-valued population with various probabilities and partitions of categories subject to the restrictions. The collection of such type of qualitative data is not of much importance and researchers are always keen in the analysis of these classified data and their ultimate aim is to analyse the results for the population parameters
