EFFECT OF ZINC NANO-FERTILIZER ON GROWTH, YIELD AND Zn CONTENT IN MAIZE (Zea mays L.)
(DEPARTMENT OF SOIL SCIENCE AND AGRICULTURAL CHEMISTRY B.A. COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE ANAND AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY ANAND, 2019) Patel Rajalben P.; Dr. V. P. Ramani
The study entitled, “Effect of zinc nano fertilizer on growth, yield and Zn content in maize Zea mays L.)” was u ndertaken by conducting a laboratory experiment of synthesis and characterization of zinc nano fertilizer and a field experiment at Main Forage Research S tation, Anand Agricultural University, Anand (Gujarat) during r abi season of the year 2018 19. In lab oratory experiment, zinc nano fertilizer (ZnO NPs) was synthesized, using direct precipitation method and cha racterized by Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) analysis. Th e i nstrumental analysis results indicated that synthesized ZnO NPs were of 35 40 nm particle size , monodispersed, pure, stable and showed characteristic absorption of Zn O bond at wavenumber of 509.46 cm 1 and 604.70 cm 1

IN VITRO EMBRYO PRODUCTION (IVEP) THROUGH TRANSVAGINAL ULTRASOUND-GUIDED ASPIRATION OF FOLLICLES IN CROSSBRED CATTLE
(Anand Agricultural University, 2008) Vishal S. Suthar; Dr. Rohit G. Shah
The study entitled “In vitro embryo production (IVEP) through transvaginal ultrasound-guided aspiration of follicles in crossbred cattle” was conducted on two groups 4 each of HF x Sahiwal crossbred cows of Sabarmati Ashram Gaushala, Bidaj farm. The study was carried out to know the number of aspirated follicles and to explore the potential of crossbreds as a donor of developmentally competent oocytes, to determine the number of oocytes available in first and second follicular wave of estrous cycle
