    Evaluation of Urogenital System by Ultrasonography in Male Marwari Goats (Capra hircus)

    The present study was undertaken in 6 male goats aged between 1 to 2 years. The animals were studied in two groups, viz. group I and group II. Group I bucks were examined ultrasonographically by a 2.5-5 MHz convex and 3.5 MHz linear probe. Structures scanned in each ultrasonographic examination were followed in a set order, e.g. kidneys, urinary bladder, urethra, penis, spermatic cord, testes and scrotum.

    Surgico-Therapeutic Studies on Traumatic Pericarditis in Cattle

    Traumatic pericarditis was studied in 25 cases of cows and bull, which were diagnosed on the basis of history, clinical signs, haematological test, radiography or ultrasonography - wherever feasible and glutaraldehyde test. The animals were subjected to haematological examination in terms of Total Leukocyte Count, Differential Leukocyte Count, Haemoglobin, Packed Cell Volume, Total Erythrocyte Count and Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate.

    Clinical Studies on Surgical Affection of Skin of Camel (Camelus dromedarius)

    Present study was done in 151 cases of skin affections in camels of either sex and these were divided into 5 groups. In animals of group 1, surgical affections of skin of head and neck included buccal diverticulum (1), tumour at neck region (1), lacerated nostrils (5), avulsion of skin of nostril area (3), tumour at commissure region (1), abscess (1), buccal fistula (5), dermoid cyst (2) and wound at neck (2). In animals of group 2, the skin affections of thorax and abdomen included were haematoma at left thoracic region (1), saddle gall (4), chest pad affections (3) and abscess (1). In animals of group 3, the skin affections of inguinal region, scrotum, sheath and tail recorded were inguinal region tumour (1), scrotal abscess (1), scrotal bite wound (1), sheath abscess (1) and tail gangrene (4). In animals of group 4, surgical affections of skin of limbs recorded were avulsion of sole and skin of foot (1), lymphangitis (1), wounds at limb and foot (3), tumour at foot region (1) and punctured wound (2). In animals of group 5, generalised skin affections recorded were pox lesions (3) and multiple abscesses (2).
