    The present study was conducted to assess and compare the association between Obesity and Social Competence of adolescent boys and girls (13-15 years) studying in Senior Secondary Schools of Bikaner City. The total sample for the present study consisted of 200 adolescents (50 each normal and obese boys and 50 each normal and obese girls) randomly selected from purposively selected 8 schools of Bikaner city. For the data collection one major tool was used i.e. Social Competence (Standardized tool) by Sharma, V.P., Shukla, P. and Shukla, K., Raipur (1992).

    The present study was undertaken to assess and compare selected aspects of old age adjustment of aged males and females who were active in service, on the verge of retirement and in the post retirement phase residing in Bikaner city. The data were collected from 90 males and 90 females between the age of 50 to 65 years. Data were collected through a standardized tool i.e. Shamshad Jasbir old age adjustment inventory developed by Jasbir, S. (1994).

    The present study was undertaken to asses and compare selected areas of School Satisfaction of adolescent boys and girls (13-17 years) studying in private senior secondary schools (co-educational and non coeducational) of Bikaner city. The total sample for the present study consisted of randomly selected 320 adolescents (160 boys and 160 girls) from three randomly selected private senior secondary schools in which 160 adolescents (80 boys + 80 girls) from 01 co-educational and 160 adolescents (80 boys + 80 girls) from each of the 02 non co-educational schools of Bikaner city.

    The present study was undertaken to conceive the existing knowledge and opinion on child rights and its education of adolescents residing in Sri Ganganagar city (Rajasthan). The total sample was consisted of 120 adolescents (12-16 years) randomly selected (chit system) 60 boys and 60 girls belonging to low income group studying in Government Senior Secondary Schools were included for the present study. Data were collected through two tools – questionnaire and opinionnaire prepared by Shikha (2006) were used with few modifications in the tools by investigator herself.

A need based Educational Programme on Reproductive Health developed, implemented and evaluated for 60 randomly selected early adolescent girls, studying in 7th, 8th and 9th standards (12 to 14 years of age) of four randomly selected Government Secondary Schools to see the impact of Educational Programme on the knowledge about Reproductive Health.

    Knowledge of Employed and Non-Employed Mothers Regarding Behavioural Problems of Preschoolers (3-6 years)

    The present study was undertaken to assess and compare knowledge about the behavioural problems of preschool age (3-6 years) of employed and non-employed mothers. The total sample for the present study consisted of 80 randomly selected (lottery) mothers from four randomly selected residential colonies of Bikaner city. Ten employed and 10 non-employed mothers were selected randomly (lottery) from each selected colony. The data were collected through interview schedule prepared by Gupta (2006). Frequency, percentage, ‘z’ test and chi –Square were computed to assess and compare the aspects of the behavioural problems of preschoolers of employed and non-employed mothers.

    Standardization of Electronic Booklet (e-booklet) on Different Parenting Styles

    The present study was undertaken for the parents of teenagers of Bikaner city with the aim to standardize the electronic booklet on different Parenting Styles. The developed e-booklet was standardized by 30 experts from various departments (Human Development and Family Studies from the State Agricultural Universities as well as the traditional universities, Psychology, Media and Computer). Content Validity Ratio (CVR) was computed to see the content validity in order to standardize the e-booklet.

The total sample for the present study was selected through random sampling method consisted of 180 (30 boys (HIG) 30 girls (HIG) 30 boys (MIG) 30 girls (MIG) 30 boys (LIG) 30 girls (LIG) from 3 randomly selected private Co-educational Senior Secondary School.
