Marketing and Post-harvest Management of Betel Leaf in Puri district of Odisha

Rural farmers were able to make a living by growing betel vines, which is a type of farming. Farmers made money from other crops only during certain times of the year, but they could make money from a small piece of land all year long by growing betel vines. This can help cut down on poverty and unemployment. The main reason for doing this research is to find out about the Betel Leaf market and how it is made, which will show what the future market potential is in the Puri district of Odisha.
