ThesisItem Open Access Genetic variability, G × E Interaction and stability analysis of Rice (Oryza sativa L.) accessions for pheno-qualitative traits.(Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding Institute of Agricultural Sciences Banaras Hindu University Varanasi, 2022) Das, Ankita; Singh, S.K.The present investigation was performed by using sixty advanced rice accessions evaluated in three distinct locations (environments) namely Agricultural research farm-2020, Agricultural research farm-2021 and Rampur-2021. Nineteen features were assessed for each genotype. The analysis of variance was significant for yield and yield traits in both the season indicating the existence of sufficient variability for their exploitation. For traits including number of filled grain or spikelet and alkali digestion value, high genotypic coefficient of variation (GCV) and phenotypic coefficient of variation (PCV) values were found, indicating that direct selection may be successful for these traits. For the following characters: grain yield per plot and other yield related character shows moderate PCV and GCV were noted. All of the characters had high heritability, with the exception of elongation ratio and elongation index which had shown lesser heritability, suggesting that phenotypic values might be used to efficiently select individuals. There is no correlation between geographic distribution and genetic diversity, as shown by the grouping of the genotypes into six groups based on D2 values and the representation of genotypes from various geographic locations in each cluster. The yield and its related attributes were found to be significantly affected by genotypes, environments, and genotype-environment interactions (GEI), according to an AMMI (Additive main effects and multiplicative interaction) analysis of variance. The genotypes HL21DS-20 # 96, HL21DS-20 # 207, HL21DS-20 # 94, HL21DS-20 # 181, HL21DS-20 # 184-I and HL21DS-20 # 38 were found to be the most stable for GYPP (grain yield per plot), according to AMMI stability value (ASV) and Which-won-where" feature in GGE biplots value.ThesisItem Open Access Object detection by ultrasonic RADAR using Arduino IDE(Department of Physics, OUAT, Bhubaneswar, 2021) Das, Ankita; Panigrahy, Manorama; Parida, ChhatrapatiThis thesis is entitled as “OBJECT DETEECTION BY ULTRASONIC RADAR USING ARDUINO IDE”. Here the ultrasonic sensor is used for locating the obstacles on the way of propagation of ultrasonic wave. We have used ultrasonic sensor which is interfaced with arduino board and mounted on servomotor. We are getting the results on the display board of PC.The entire system works on the principle of echolocation. In this paper we have analyzed how this system works for different kinds of objects and how can it detect it and when it cannot. Here we will see in which fields it can be used and what are it’s advantages and limitations.
