Abstract
An experiment was carried out to study the beneficial effects of Butylated Hydroxy
Toluene, a synthetic antioxidant, on induced aflatoxicosis in broiler chicken‘ Body weight
gain. feed consumption and teed conversion were reduced in all aflatoxin fed groups over
their respective BHT supplemented groups. Packed cell volume and heamoglobin contents
were also reduced in aflatoxin ted groups which improved in BHT supplemented groups.
