BASAKMr. PREM KUMAR B2022-05-062022-05-062020https://krishikosh.egranth.ac.in/handle/1/5810184326The experiment was conducted in two different soil types viz., Local soil from DMAPR, Boriavi and saline soil collected from Bharuch, Gujarat. The experiment was laid out on completely randomized design (factorial). Two different kinds of enriched organic fertilizers i.e. enriched compost (EnC) and biochar mineral complex (BMC) were prepared from distillation waste biomass of palmarosa (Cymbopogon martinii) fortified with natural minerals such as rock phosphate and waste mica. The BMC was prepared from biochar of palmarosa distillation biomass fortified with rock phosphate and waste mica. The enriched organic fertilizers were characterized and then applied in different combinations along with farmyard manure (FYM) and chemical fertilizer to evaluate as nutrient source under pot culture experiment. The treatment comprised of seven levels of inputs viz., F1: Control, F2: Farmyard manure (FYM), F3: 100% Enriched compost, F4: 75% Enriched compost, F5: 100% Biochar mineral complex, F6: 75% Biochar mineral complex and F7: Recommended dose of fertilizer (RDF) and two types of soils (S1: Saline soil and S2: Local soil).EnglishEFFECT OF ENRICHED ORGANIC FERTILIZER ON GROWTH, HERBAGE YIELD AND QUALITY OF SENNA (Cassia angustifolia Vahl.)
