Microscopical examination of faeces revealed characteristic elliptical to oval shaped operculated eggs of Diphyllobothrium latum. Hematological studies showed anaemia. Based on the presence of the characteristic eggs in faeces we confirmed the case as Diphyllobothriosis. Subsequently, the animal was treated with Praziquantel @ 5mg/ kg b.wt on the first day and repeated on 14th day.enVeterinary ScienceArticle
