Heart auscultation revealed muffled heart sound. Cat was subjected to chest and abdominal radiography its revealed pleural effusion. Thoracic ultrasonography revealed pleural effusion. haemetalogy revealed no abnormalities. Serum biochemical revealed elevated blood urea nitrogen[12Omg/dl) creatinine was 4.4mg/dl. Thoracentesis was performed at 7"‘ to 8"‘ Intercostal space 150ml of white colour fluid was aspirated then fluid sent for analysis its revealed triglyceride 550mg/dl cytology revealed chylomicrons on the slide.
