Thus there is an acute need to identify the status of water table depth for effective management of water resources. In this research, data from 12 blocks of the Ludhiana district are collected from namely Sidhwan Bet, Jagraon, Sudhar, Raikot, Pakhowal, Ludhiana I, Ludhiana II, Dehlon, Doraha, Machhiwara, Samrala and Khanna. The data is collected for the period 2011-2015 and for the parameters namely rainfall, population, industrial water release, cropping pattern and canal water release. The data is collected from various agencies. The data is analysed by applying various algorithms and the effect of each is determined on the ground water table. Using a suitable algorithm, an interface is created for the prediction of ground water table for the various blocks of Ludhiana district. The developed system will be beneficial for predicting the effective use of water resources in Ludhiana district.ennullSimulation of ground water table behavior using Artificial Intelligence TechniqueThesis
