R.PATEL, MATHURBHAI L.2018-05-212018-05-211983http://krishikosh.egranth.ac.in/handle/1/5810046954An investigation was carried out during the year 1930-81 and 1981-32 at Hegional sugarcane Research Station, Grujarat Agricoltural University, Thasra (Diet, Xaira) on well drain sandy loam Soils of Kadana commaad area with a view to find out the feasibility of intercropping in spring planted sugarcane so as to get higher economic return without any adverse effect on yield in quality of sugarcane. Various short duration crops of Cereals, legumes and vegetables l i ke groundnut, hybrid maize, hybrid bajri, brinjal, cluster bean, green gram, cowpea and lady's finger were tested has inter crops in sugarcane GO 419. It was observed that germination of cane buds was not affected significantly.
