The resulting 45 hybrids along with 10 parents and one check were grown in a randomized complete block design with three replications at Main Vegetables Research Station, Anand Agricultural University, Anand during kharif-rabi 2019. The main objective of the experiment was to study the per se performance, combining ability effects, magnitude of heterobeltiosis and standard heterosis and gene effects of parents and F1’s for fruit yield and its component characters including quality traits.EnglishThesis
