Significant genetic variability was observed for all the characters studied, namely, days to first flower, plant height, number of branches per plant, number of pods per plant, pod weight, pod length, pod girth, pod yield per plant and pod yield per plot. Significant gca effects were indicated for plant height, number of pods per plant, pod weight, pod length and pod girth and significant oca effects were indicated for plant height, number of pods per plant, pod weight, pod girth, pod yield per plant and pod yield per plot.enPLANT BREEDING AND GENETICS, AGRICULTUREA STUDYVARIABILITY IN OKRAThesis
