For the purpose of achievement of objectives net monthly investment by foreign institutional investors and mutual funds and monthly sensex value were used and statistical tools like regression and t-test were used. It was found that the institutional investments showed a cubic form. Foreign institutional investment and total investment by foreign institutional investors and mutual funds in previous three to six months had significant relationship with sensex, but mutual fund investment in same month and in previous six months had significant relationship with sensex.ensoybeansplantingThesis
