Apple farm management is one of the most important keys to successful and profitable farming. The study investigated the farm management practises of apple growers in tehsil Karsog. The purpose of the study was to examine the different farm management practises used to maximise apple production. A sample size of 100 respondents was taken for the study. The primary data collection tools were structured questionnaries. The result indicated that farmers were earning a fair amount of income from their apple orchards. The large amount of planting material comes from private nurseries. Major orchard management practises in tehsil Karsog include mulching, weeding, pruning, and spraying. Findings revealed that farmers are heading towards high-density plantations. Farmers' major constraints to apple growing include inadequate irrigation facilities, no follow-up by suppliers/extension workers and the high cost of fertiliser. Recommendations for both practitioners and researchers are provided to further explore the orchard management practises of apples.EnglishFARM MANAGEMENT PRACTICES OF APPLE ORCHARD IN KARSOG TEHSILThesis
