After the final dilution of semen at the desired concentration, it was divided in to two parts for subsequent cryopreservation by conventional and microencapsulation method. Following cryopreservation, the semen sample was thawed and accessed for subsequent analysis on various aspects. The post thaw motility was found in Group I whereas Group ll showed no post thaw motility. As compared to Group l, Group ll did not show significant effect in terms of viability, plasma membrane integrity and acrosome integrity of spermatozoa which get subsequently reduced in pre freeze and post thaw. Group ll did not show significant effect for the Average path velocity (VAP), Straight line velocity (VSL), semen curvilinear velocity (VCL), Amplitude of lateral head (ALH), Beat cross frequency (BCF), Straightness (STR) and Linearity (LlN) when compared with Group l. From the present study, it is concluded that conventional method for Black buck semen cryopreservation found suitable over microencapsulation method.ennullStudies on Different Methods of Cryopreservation of Black Buck Semen Collected by Electro-EjaculationThesis
