The incidence of PPR was higher during November month followed by March.PPR incidence is low in the goats and sheep above 2 years of age. PPR incidence was more in the age group of 4 months to 1 year. Fifteen PPR positive samples were used for PPRV isolation in Vcro cells and the isolates were again confirmed by RT PCR using N gene primers. These RT-PCR products were sequenced. The partial N gene sequences of the PPRV isolates are similar and showed 99 - 100% homology with Tamil Nadu isolates.en-USVeterinary ScienceVeterinary Clinical MedicineIncidence of Peste des Petits Ruminants (PPR) Viral Disease in Tamil NaduIndian Veterinary JournalArticle
