College of Agriculture, AAU, Anand during 2018-19 in order to study the comparative biology of pulse beetle, Callosobruchus maculatus (Fabricius), biopesticidal management and varietal susceptibility in chickpea during storage under laboratory conditions. The hosts used for comparative biology study were cowpea, chickpea and green gram. The biopesticides evaluated were Beauveria bassiana WP, B. bassiana oil, Metarhizium anisopliae WP, M. anisopliae oil, Lecanicillium lecanii WP, L. lecanii oil, Bacillus thuringiensis WP and B. thuringiensis oil. Different varieties / genotypes viz., GAG-1423, GAG-1425, Dahod Yellow, GG-1, GG-2, GG- 5, GJG-3, GJG-3, KAK-2 and JGK-1 were screened for their susceptibility to C. maculatus.EnglishCOMPARATIVE BIOLOGY, BIOPESTICIDAL MANAGEMENT OF PULSE BEETLE, Callosobruchus maculatus (Fabricius) AND VARIETAL SUSCEPTIBILITY IN CHICKPEA DURING STORAGEThesis
