The higher activity of this pest was observed during 1st week of January. Population of jassid (Empoasca kerri Pruthi) was appeared during fourth week of October and persisted till 4th week of January which varied from 0.73 to 7.11 jassids per three leaves. On initiation, pest showed decreasing trend and reached to its lowest level i.e. 0.73 jassids per three leaves. The peak population of jassid (7.11 jassids/3 leaves) was observed during fourth week of December. The incidence of whiteflies (Bemisia tabaci Genn) was started from fourth week of October and remained up to fourth week of January with peak (5.13/3 leaves) during fourth week of December.
