A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand (Gujarat) during 2011-12 and 2012-13. Studies on biology of D. rapae revealed that the egg to pupal period ranged from 8 to 10 days with an average of 8.83 ± 0.83 days. Longevity of male and female was 7.06 ± 0.83 and 5.50 ± 0.51 days, respectively. Entire lifespan of female and male was 15.90 ± 0.99 and 14.33 ± 0.99 days, respectively. Sex ratio (male : female) of the parasitoid was 1 : 1.40 in laboratory reared adults. Morphometry observations of adults revealed that the females were relatively larger in size than males.enAgricultural Entomology,StudyStudyBIOLOGY AND ACTIVITY OF Diaeretiella rapae (McIntosh) – AN ENDO-PARASITOID OF APHIDS INFESTING CRUCIFEROUS CROPSThesis
