Magnetite synthesized in laboratory through co precipitation methods. This paper report that the synthesis of magnetite through co precipitation method in laboratory condition and their characterization of BET surface area, FTIR and XRD. Also check the ability of magnetite to remove phosphate from aqueous solutions by changeable the amount of adsorbent, pH, and contact time and phosphorus concentration in batch adsorption studies. It was found that adsorption increased with increasing pH up to 8 and equilibrium was achieved within 30 minutes of contact time between magnetite and phosphorus. Using the Freundlich isotherm, the absorption capacity of magnetite was found.ennullSynthesis and characterization of magnetite and its use in phosphorus removal from aqueous solution.Thesis
