The approach used in this study for achieving the above objectives were to incorporate dUTP in the place of dTTP and perform subsequent polymerase chain reaction (PCR) or loop mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) reaction in the presence of enzyme Uracil DNA glycosylase and to use the lateral flow dipstick assay on the LAMP products. These two approaches are applied in the diagnosis of Leptospira and Mycobacterium avíum subsp paratuberculosis (MAP).enVeterinary ScienceAnimal BiotechnologyNUCLEIC ACID BASED DETECTION OF MYCOBACTERIUM AVIUM SUBSP PARATUBERCULNSIS (MAP), LEPTOSPIRA AND GENETIC SUSCEPTIBILITY TO MAPThesis
