The acquired data from women trainees on different business activities were analyzed by using simple averages and percentages method and presented in tabular form. Major findings of the study envisaged that after getting training by women from PNBFTC, Raipur they then joined self-help groups already functioning in their vicinity and empowered themselves economically, The trained women are self-employed and after completing their house chores, they utilize their time for generating income through small enterprises of washing powder, phenyl, achar, papad, badi, bijouri and murku. The impact of the training program on women reflects that they were found to be more confident for doing their business activity and their skill was also enhanced. During the financial year of 2019-20 PNBFTC targeted the number of training programmes and the number of trainees, where they performed significantly positive achievement and found 99.05 % covered in the number of programme and 96.89 % covered in the number of trainees. Women empowerment training during last three years was 5876 (2017-18), 6155 (2018-2019), 8465 (2019-2020) respectively, where these results show working and non-working women ratio were generally one third to one-fourth of the total. Training provided by PNBFTC Raipur to farmers and women respectively 1 day, 2 days or more day, where 2 days and 3 days are generally for women empowerment where the ratio of women was more as compared to men. The PNB has not been directly involved to provide finance to the trainees, but there is a certain chain system to get financial support from an institution which where SHGs, clusters and other organization are involved. The gross return earned by the women from different business activities was noticed from Rs1500 to 24000 and obtained net return from Rs 500 to 6000. The employment generation in doing different business activities was 2-14 days/month by spending 2-6 hr per month. Aggregate major findings for the cost incurred in all activities are as follows- Vindheshwari spent Rs 38393, Bhartiya SHG group Rs 28787, Jai Mata Di Rs 25907, Ma Sharda Rs 23825 and Ma Vaishno Rs 23500. Similarly, Net return incurred in all activities Vindheshwari Rs 13627, Ma Sharda Rs 11567.5, Jai Mata Di Rs 10873, Bhartiya Rs 10593, Ma Vaishno Rs 10100 and the major findings for employment in all activities are as follows - Vindheshwari 42 days/month, Bhartiya 33.5 days/month, Jai Mata Di is 31.5 days/month, Mother Sharda 30.75 days/month and Mother Vaishno is 27 days/month. The observation during study period and case study of PNBTC noticed that PNBFTC provides training which was beneficial towards establishing new enterprises, level of motivation, interest and family support also plays an important role in the adoption of any enterprises. Major constraints reported by members of SHGs were less demand of the product which forces them to produce less because supply cannot be surplus otherwise they won’t get a good price and also the product quality maintenance is also a major problem because of unavailability of proper equipment the product quality diminishes with time. The researcher recommended more case-studies in this direction so that a women entrepreneur gets more empowered. Such studies will help women to unravel the issues faced. It will motivate more non-government agencies and government to provide support, help and benefit to women entrepreneurs.enWOMEN EMPOWERMENT THROUGH TRAINING: A CASE STUDYOF PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK FARMER WELFARE TRUST (PNBFWT); RAIPUR (C.G.)Thesis
