Survey work revealed that, the average disease severity was found more in Bellary district (79.12%) followed by Gulbarga (75.63%) and least in Belgaum (43.05%). The obsei-vations on loss estimation revealed that, comparatively lower disease index with increase in dry chilli yield and also maximum BCR was recorded in plots receiving three sprays of Penconazole.
