The lesions were suggestive of IBD based on history, clinical findings, postmortem lesions, histopathological examination and it was confirmed for the first time in Melmaruvathur region as IBD by CIE. Affected birds were kept in isolation and treated with supportive therapy with vitamins, and electrolyte orally.
