Kagzi” under middle Gujarat climatic conditions was carried out at the Horticultural Research-cum-Demonstration Farm, Department of Horticulture, B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand, during the year 2010-2011. The experiment was laid out in a Completely Randomized Design (Factorial) with eighteen treatment combinations and three repetitions. The treatments comprised three medias M1 [Soil + cocopeat + vermicompost (1:1:1)], M2 [soil + cocopeat+ FYM (1:1:1)] and M3 [soil + FYM (1:1)] ,three conditions viz. S1 [net house (75% shade)], S2 greenhouse (open vent) and S3 [open nursery conditions] and the fertilizer spray comprising of two level viz, F1[spray of NPK 19:19:19 @ 1.0 g/liter + micronutrient grade IV @ 1.0 g/liter at 10 days interval.] and F0[no fertilizer spray].
