Afier careful obstetrical examination, dysto- cia had been relieved and twelve live piglets were removed. The sow collapsed immediately after removal of another dead piglet two day later. At necropsy, cortical surfaces of the both the kidneys showed few depressed area. On incision, pus pockets were showing oozing of purulent exudates.
