Endoparasitic diseases of goats are considered as one of the major impediment to profitable goat farming. Anthelmintics are used extensively by farmers to control the helminthic infections. Ivermectin, a macrocyclic lactone was found to be ineffective with a few clinical reports of ivermectin resistance reported.
