In recent years, rapid development has taken place in designing sophisticated equipment and procedures for semen evaluation. The use of computer assisted semen analysis (CASA) has given a new dimension to evaluation of quality of spermatozoa (Amann and Hammerstedt 1980; Tuli et al., 1992; Tardiff et al., 1998). Besides assessment of motility, CASA facilitates evaluation of sperm motion and morphological characteristics, which would not otherwise be possible by conventional methods. Therefore, a study was undertaken to assess the effect of cryopreservation on the sperm characteristics of goat spermatozoa by CASA technique.enVeterinary ScienceSmall RuminantsEVALUATION OF PRE-FREEZE AND POST-THAW SPERM MOTION CHARACTERISTICS OF GOAT SPERMATOZOA BY COMPUTER-ASSISTED SEMEN ANALYSISIndian Journal of Small RuminantsArticle
