Allahabad Safeda” was conducted during the year Kharif - 2017 at Horticultural Research Farm, Department of Horticulture, B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand. The treatments comprised two levels of etiolation (E) viz., E0- without etiolation, E1- with etiolation, with two levels of wrapping materials (W) viz., W1- Black poly wrapper (200 gauge), W2- Transparent poly wrapper (200 gauge) with five level of growing media (M) viz., M1- Soil, M2-Sphagnum moss, M3- Sphagnum moss + Soil (1:2), M4- Sphagnum moss + Soil (1:1), M5- Sphagnum moss + Soil (2:1).
