The minimum incidence of thrips (30.55thrips/plant) were observed on early transplanted crop on (24th November) and highest bulb yield was obtained from crop transplanted on 4th December (184.75 q ha-1). The maximum incidence of thrips (44.35 thrips/plant) and minimum bulb yield (173.50 q ha-1) were recorded in late transplanted crop i.e. 3rd January. A significant positive correlation was observed between transplanting times and thrips population whereas, negative in both transplanting times and thrips incidence with bulb yield of onion.ennullManagement of Thrips, Thrips tabaci Lindeman on Onion, Allium cepa LinnaeusThesis
