The test has undergoue modifications leading to higher sensitivity, simplicity and reproducibility (Jagannath and Sengupta, 1983). The present study has a modification in the PHAT involving the use of chicken redblood cells (CRBC) as suggested by Scott (1991), instead of the conventional sheep red blood cells (SRBC), for the diagnosis of rinderpest (RP).EnglishVeterinary ScienceA MODIFIED TECHNIQUE OF PASSIVE HAEMAGGLUTINATION TEST FOR THE DIAGNOSIS OF BOVINE TUBERCULOSISCheironArticle
